Leah ~ FS-90 (VEE) DD: Rock-Point Samson's Delilah Holly freshened as a small two year old but kept growing. She did score 89 (VEEE) as a 1st freshener and placed 17th at nationals as a 2 year old. She finished her championship as a 3 year old, but never went Best of Breed. She went to nationals in Iowa and was 12th. As a four year old, she started getting noticed and was several times Best in Show and was 5th at nationals. As a 5 year old, Holly stormed the show arena and won show after show. She scored FS-92 (EEEE) that year, made the trip to Spokane and was 2nd place 5 year old. As a 6 year old, Holly won her class in Indianapolis and again scored FS-92 (EEEE). When Holly was scored as a 7 year old, she had just had her peak milk test of 18.9 pounds and she could not have looked more radiant. She scored FS-93 (EEEE) making her one of six Saanens to ever score that high! Holly was bred to Dillon and on February 25th, we performed a C-section on Holly, delivering 3 Bucks and 1 Doe (LulaMae Golightly)! 2 bucks & doe reserved. Thank you Holly for setting the standard so high and for teaching us patience because excellence takes time. Thank you Holly, YOU HAVE EXCEEDED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS! She does not have the same ring presence of her sister Holly, but even so she has beaten Holly in the arena on several occasions. Tiffany has a beautiful rump and is a bit stronger boned than Holly with better front legs. We would like to widen Tiffany's rear arch slightly while keeping the height the same. She has one of the widest rear arches in the herd and while we would like to size her teats down a bit, they are still plumb and well delineated. Demi kidded with a single doe in 2007 and didn't milk as much as we would have liked. We are hoping for twins or triplets in 2008.
